ISKCON Lokanath Swami's Vyaspuja Offering to Jayapataka swami

Bhakti Caru with Lokanath swami / BCS with Jayapataka swami

HH Lokanath Swami’s Vyasapuja offering to HH Jayapataka Swami Maharaja - March 2018

Dear Jayapataka Maharaja,

Please accept my humble obeisances.
All glories to Srila Prabhupad.
All glories to you Maharaja, on your Vyasa Puja day.

vancha-kalpatarubhyash cha
kripa-sindhubhya eva cha
patitanam pavanebhyo
vaishnavebhyo namo namaha

Maharaja, you addressed Navadvip Mandala Parikrama groups via Skype from your hospital bed in Chennai. Although I was right there in Mayapur, you gave more presentations than I did. You were also participating in each and every Plenary session of the GBC meetings, more active and responsive than many members sitting in the chairs of the GBC conference hall. From time to time for health reasons some of the GBC members take a leave of absence from their GBC duties. You deserve to take such leave, but you never did.

Satsvarupa at least knows what planet he is going to?

Was Jayatirtha an acharya?

[PADA: Right, Jayapataka kicked us out of ISKCON for our objecting to his having Jayatirtha as the "acharya of England." Jayapataka's "duty to Krishna" is thus to place debauchees, illicit sex, drugs and criminals in the sacred Vyasa guru seat, which he has been doing all along. What kind of "service to Krishna" is this, placing deviants in Krishna's guru seat? Worse, JPS never took a leave of absence from this job, he has kept it up for decades.]

Then you did not want to miss the Gaura Purnima festival and came straight from your hospital bed to Mayapur. On the way back to hospital Maharaja, you sent an appeal to all the devotees around the world to pray that the crucial operation would be successful. At the same time you surprised us saying that, “you would like to give online classes from Chennai and that devotees should feel free to contact those responsible in this regard.”

In the midst of all the health crises, emergencies and setbacks of being handicapped as well as bedridden from time to time, you still continued the vigorous travelling, preaching globally, tirelessly raising funds for TOVP, fulfilling your various GBC duties, even writing books as well as accepting and taking care of disciples, while taking on all kinds of risks.

[PADA: Right, Srila Prabhupada said we neophytes cannot be diksha gurus and absorb sins, and if we try to do so artificially, we will have to suffer. Notice that Lokanath swami is encouraging these neophytes to be premature diksha gurus, and thus absorb sins ... and then they will -- get sick, fall down and die prematurely, which is what Srila Prabhupada warned us would happen to these false diksha gurus.]

Frankly speaking, you are unstoppable. We are all just amazed at how you manage all this, year after year after year. It has been ten years since your stroke and you have defied all the physical laws, transcending the pain and inconvenience. You are unique and there is no other individual like you on this planet.

[PADA: No, he has not defied physical laws. He was told not to attempt being a diksha guru or he would have to suffer, and he is suffering.]

You remind me and should remind all of us of grandfather Bhishma, who was also on a bed of arrows. With full fledged Krishna consciousness he was advising Yudishtir Maharaja and the assembled sages and emperors. From a bed of arrows piercing his entire body he offered the most wonderful prayers - ‘Bhisma stuti'. Maharaja, you are like that. You find yourself in this situation, yet you act normally and transcendentally. You are like a wonder of this world.

[PADA: Wow, so defying the orders of the acharya, and taking sins without authority, and then suffering -- is like Bhishma?]

I know that even though you have accomplished so much for the pleasure of our spiritual father and master, Srila Prabhupada, you consider that there are quite a few items still pending. This further invokes my love for you. I bow down to you and with all sincerity at my command I pray to Guru and Gauranga, Srila Prabhupada and Lord Nrsimha that on this occasion of Your Holiness’s Vyasa puja day that this upcoming critical operation be successful and that you have a healthy, active and long life on earth to accomplish your remaining mission.

You are a great soul! A hero!

Please accept my humble obeisances and my affectionate embrace.

Your insignificant brother and friend,
Lokanath Swami

An operation is not going to fix this?

[PADA: Yep, making pretend one can absorb sins like Jesus when one is only a neophyte makes one a great hero, or a great fool? You decide. ys pd]
